Gretsch Duo Jet Guitar Features
The Gretsch Duo Jet has a 24.5 Inch scale length and the body, with it’s single cutaway design, is made from mahogany. Due to the fact that the body is heavily routed it is fairly light weight, making the guitar comfortable to play with a nice sustain.
The original guitar featured two DeArmond humbucker pickups. The instrument came with a three way pickup selector, two volume controls and one tone pot together with a master volume control. Early releases of the Duo Jet also featured an optional Bigsby tremolo.
Gretsch Duo Jet Sounds
The guitar has a rich heritage it’s pickups produce classic warm
tones featuring a distinctive Gretsch twang (especially true with heavier
guauge strings). The warm tones support a range of music from country
and jazz through to rock.
